A Quilt for Baby Anna

Our third granddaughter was born last week, a sweet little babe named Anna Mae.  Her quilt is finished and ready to be given to her.  Her momma wanted it in purples, greens, and blues and I was pleased with the way these fabrics went together.  Hopefully Anna will enjoy many warm nights snuggling with her quilt!

Aunt Gini's Tablerunner

I love going to visit my Aunt Gini in Iowa.  She likes the color green, and frogs, and yard ornaments.  Her kitchen cupboards are painted a lovely medium green with wallpaper flowers as accents.  I found these fabrics in my stash that I thought would complement her kitchen beautifully.  I quilted it myself in all straight lines using the walking foot, but had to finish sewing down the binding after I got to her house.  The colors matched as well as I thought they would and she was very pleased with it.  When I left it was occupying a place right down the center of her kitchen table!

Tablerunner for Aunt Gini

I had made another tablerunner in this same design prior to this one to try out the pattern.  It is also in shades of green but leans more to the teal side.  It will be for my table whenever I get it finished.

Isabella's Quilt is Finished!

Isabella's quilt is finished, binding and all!  I am so excited to give it to her in a couple of days.  This pattern is one of the Patch Pals patterns that Quiltmaker featured in their magazine several years ago.
